Students In Action in the '22-'23 School Year

The Friday Night Live Summerville Bears Campus Action Group had a fruitful, fun '22-'23 school year! The Campus Action Group has worked hard to create a fentanyl awareness campaign given the rising risk of fentanyl across the country and in Tuolumne County. This fentanyl awareness campaign included a wallet card, a radio ad, and a flyer. They also created a holiday radio ad that was aired locally to raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence.

FNL Influence the Future Summit

Nine Tuolumne County Friday Night Live (FNL) students from Summerville High joined a thousand other FNLers from across the state in Anaheim Nov 5-6 at the FNL Influence the Future Summit. Along with finding inspiration and resources to create positive change at school and in our community they also had hangtime at Disneyland.

Media Outreach

The Friday Night Live Summerville Bears Campus Action Group has made a variety of outreach efforts. From posters across campus to a local radio ad campaign, the students have been reaching out to emphasize the risks associated with fentanyl use.
